J.O.Y. Group (Jesus’ Older Youth)
Directed by Harry and Retha Feltman
Asst. Directors: Lorraine Craig, Dave Demin, and Sandy Demin
The J.O.Y. Group at New Town is an exciting ministry and fellowship of those that are “Seniors” in terms of age and experience, but still full of passion for caring, sharing, and showing those around us that life in the Kingdom of Christ Jesus is an abundant life that just keeps getting better and better.
We fellowship together with a covered dish supper on the 1st Saturday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in building C (fellowship hall). EVERYONE is invited from Tiny to plus Ninety.
We also stay active with shopping trips, lunch trips to the mountains in Ellijay and beyond, festivals, and even Leaf Looking trips!
Our ministry is primarily to those that are elderly, those who are in nursing homes, and those who are unable to come to church. Our mission is to remain active for the Glory of the Lord, and to be fervent in prayer for our local church here at New Town and for all Bible teaching/preaching churches focused on spreading the Gospel of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Come and join us in our fellowship and fun in Jesus our Lord, no matter what age you are.
